Overall, the Kings would be setting themselves up to add an outside shooter in the offseason if they didn’t retain Crabbe. If he’s given an opportunity to come in with that role, he could be a coveted player. That is exactly what the Kings could use by having a great inside presence with Davis and Cousins. Pat Connaughton isn’t a heralded prospect by any means, but he has the potential to develop into a three-point specialist off the bench. Adding Allen Crabbe on the outside would give the Kings an outside scoring threat to go with their inside game. With Cousins in the frontcourt, Davis wouldn’t be relied upon as a scorer however, he’d be a good pick-and-roll option with the ability to also knock down a mid-range jumper.ĭavis would provide a great rebounding and defensive presence to pair with Cousins’ inside scoring abilities. The Portland Trail Blazers are Davis’ fourth team in as many season, and a move to the Kings would provide some stability to his career.
